Off-leash dog areas in Denver, CO

Denver Parks and Recreation (City and County of Denver) lists 17 official off-leash areas. We publish 18 records, each attribute linked to the page that states it.

About this list

Denver Parks and Recreation's Dog Parks page enumerates 17 named locations. The City's own GIS layer ODC_PARK_DOGPARKS_A contains 18 dog park features; the extra one is Central St Dog Park (built 2025), which the page still describes as the Central St. Dog Park & Promenade project. We publish all 18 records and state which one is the addition.

Denver publishes a lighting-based rule rather than per-park times: unlighted dog parks are open sunrise to sundown and lighted ones 5am-11pm, 7 days a week. Railyard is the only lighted one.

OpenStreetMap is not used for these values; Denver's GIS is the authority for fencing, shade, water and size.
